Hi, I'm TJ — and what Y14k stands for
Hi, I’m TJ. Welcome to my blog!
I’m the kind of person who keeps building new things — if you need evidence, there’s a neatly numbered projects folder on my machine, and the blog you’re reading right now is project number twelve.
What does Y14k stand for?
You might be wondering about the name. Here’s the answer: Y14k comes from youarewhatyouask — the letter Y, followed by 14 more letters, ending with k.
It’s the same naming trick programmers use when they call internationalization i18n, or accessibility a11y (the formal term is a numeronym). So y14k.com and youarewhatyouask.com are one and the same site — one name is quick to type, the other tells you what it means.
you are what you ask
I believe you are what you ask — we are defined not by the answers we hold, but by the questions we wonder about. Good questions lead to new ideas, new perspectives, and sometimes new projects. Like this blog.
This is where I’ll keep my thoughts, things I learn, and questions worth asking — in both Thai and English.
See you in the next post.
